Tonight’s Stakeholder meeting postponed to 27 March 6:00pm-7:30pm.

Following consideration, it has been decided that due to the  weather conditions, the expected drop to very low temperatures at that time of night and the associated risks of people making their way to and from the Guildhall , we have decided to postpone this evenings meeting until the 27 March 6:00pm-7:30pm.

The decision to postpone the meeting was not made lightly and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you.

The rearranged meeting will still follow the planned format of briefings and information sharing, for the following projects that are in motion:

  • Countryside Access and Trim Trail
  • Gardening project
  • Multicultural Forum
  • Veterans in the Community
  • Social Prescription
  • Andover Business Improvement District

The weather might be getting the better of us today, but Andover Vision is still working to deliver great things for Andover:

Town Mills Riverside Project

A subject close to all of us involved with Andover Vision is finding ways in which the River Anton can be a focal point within the town. As you all know, we have been in discussions with Hampshire County Council on how we can open up the river at Town Mills and find ways in which traffic could bypass this part of Andover.

We are close to making a public announcement on the next steps between the two councils, which I hope will come in the next few days. We will ensure that Andover Vision are closely involved in the opportunities this will bring to improve the overall vitality and offer of the town.

We hope that you can make the new date, please email [email protected] to RSVP to the new meeting date or to get in touch with the Andover Vision Team if you have any queries.
