There are about 125 independent voluntary groups in the Good Neighbours Network in Hampshire. They are there for people who do not have anyone else to turn to when they need a bit of help. Mostly, volunteers  use their own cars to take people to  GP and hospital appointments. They stay with them and bring them home again. North Baddesley Friends offers help to the residents of North Baddesley, Knightwood (part of) and Chilworth who needs help with Hospital Transport; GP Transport; Other Health Transport; Prescription Collection; Shopping; Befriending; Visiting. Passengers in wheelchairs can be accommodated if wheelchairs can fold and passengers can transfer from their wheelchair into a car. Swivel seats for the car are available on request as well as a wheelchair. Farepass is accepted.
