Volunteering means giving your time and skills to helping others. It can vary from making tea for a local group to working with the Witness Service. You could become a Trustee, help in a crèche or work with your local conservation group. The list is endless.
Whatever you would like to do, there is bound to be a volunteer opportunity!

If you prefer, you can telephone your nearest Volunteer Centre right away and make an appointment for an informal and confidential chat to discuss the options available to you. You’ll have the chance to talk about different opportunities and find one that’s right for you. We encourage you to go along and talk with the group about what is involved and we’ll offer support until you feel you are settled. Why not fill out the form and bring it with you? (We need a few personal details just for statistical purposes; this is not linked personally to prospective volunteers). Or email us with your details and the Volunteer Centre and we will phone you.
