Information on Test Valley Community Services and Projects

Core Objectives

• Developing and promoting the voluntary sector
• Enabling participation through representation and consultation
• Providing information, training and research
• Facilitating, networking and creating support / partnerships

Volunteer recruitment and placement

Volunteer recruitment in Test Valley is one of our key aims. Volunteers make a major contribution to the local economy. In many cases they are the difference between whether a group operates or not. We have new systems that can usually match volunteers to opportunities and vice versa.

Test Valley Volunteer Centre will publicise volunteering opportunities available with local groups and projects. This service is available to any voluntary organisation in Test Valley. Please see our volunteering page for details.

Community Group Support

TVCS can help new groups become established. We can help with constitutional matters and advise on charity law.

Office Support

TVCS run a payroll service, for more details contact the Romsey address.

A reasonably priced photocopying service is available at both offices

Promotes volunteering and recruits volunteers.

Community notice boards in the rural areas of Test Valley giving Educational, Health and Statutory information. Contact the Romsey office.
